human contact is unnecessaryMy local National Westminster Bank is undergoing a refurb while it remains open to the public. More machines, fewer tellers, therefore fewer wage packets. Before I’m dead I envisage communicating with robot cashiers and ‘information-giving’, holographic images. Machines are indeed taking over the world! When it gets to the point in human history when we are far too many, neurotoxins will be released into the air to…cut us down! Naturally a government-backed, global public relations exercise will go into overdrive, and our deaths will be blamed on one of several ‘explainable’ pandemics! Good luck and God bless, because the only ‘necessary’ humans will be the ones needed to service the machines, machines that won’t need to be paid, fed or housed!!
