According to data supplied by The Campaign for Better Hospital Food, more than 30 million patients meals are being thrown away each year at NHS hospitals. Wow, I had no idea it was so small a number? I had assumed every hospital meal had been trashed! Obviously not every patient wished to survive to throw-up another day! Then again, what do you expect for free? I’ve long suspected, over the years, my dogs have all eaten far better than British hospital patients! Don’t take it as red, but I further believe UK prisoners eat better than hospital patients too. How come? Solution, cut down on ‘choice’ and improve the nutritional value and taste of what remains on a menu! Until that happens, if you are due for a stay in an NHS hospital, I urge you to either eat heartily before you book in, or opt for the Vegan diet when to do booked in!
