Three of the UK’s top model agencies…Storm Models, Premier Models, Models 1…have been raided by investigators from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) after receiving accusations the model agencies are working as a secret cartel. Collusion to allegedly fix the prices they charge for models to major high-street retailers and brands is definitely a no-no! Investigators, having removed computers and files from offices, must decide whether either the Competition Act 1998 or Article 101 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union have been broken. If found guilty of price-fixing, the model agencies face fines of up to 10% of their worldwide turnover.
Wow, if the allegations of price-fixing are true, well it’s not exactly ‘model behaviour’, is it? Representing some of the best known ‘stick-insects’…who are highly proficient in walking on two legs and in a forward motion, but less so in reverse…I would say the owners of the model agencies must be bricking it right about now, however since neither they nor their ‘stock’ of fashion models actually consume enough food to experience any kind of bowel movement, no one is actually shitting themselves after all! The bomb bay doors might be open, but ‘ordnance’ ain’t gonna drop! Your skeletal heroines are much more likely to drop a ‘septum’ from overusing cocaine before they ever drop a loaf!
